Do you ever eat breakfast food for dinner?

One of our favorite family meals for dinner is waffles and turkey bacon. Sometimes we have cereal and milk with fruit. Does anyone else have breakfast type foods for dinner? Or even lunch? Now and again, an omelette with veggies and cheese tastes great in the middle of my day.

my mom likes to have eggs, bacon and toast sometimes and pancakes too for dinner but I personally don't like having stuff like that for dinner.. its too fatty to have for dinner. I'll have eggs and toast maybe.. i used to like having it for dinner but i don't know.. the last year or so i just don't care for it anymore.

You're probably right about breakfast foods being too fatty to eat at night. But, sometimes they just hit the spot. Thanks for sharing with us!

Yeah, I've eaten eggs for dinner. Fry an egg and put that on a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, meat, cheese and mayo. I've also had pop tarts with ice cream for dessert and dry cereal to snack on.

Yum! The sandwich idea sounds really good and not something I would have thought of doing with an egg. Thanks for the great idea!

Since my husband and I rarely eat breakfast we sometimes like to have it for dinner...and be really bad as far as a heart healthy diet goes. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, grits. It breaks up the dinner routine, that's for sure.

Yes, it does break up the routine. I used to make whole wheat pancakes for myself at night, but no one else in my family ate them, so I just quit doing it. It was really too much work for just me.

I just eat any food I like at anytime, so no different for me in breakfast and dinner, cause I didn't have stable time to eat. I know it's bad for my health, but change change it in short time.

I don't beliee in food being for a specific time o day. Sometimes I eat dinner food for breakfast, and I have dessert with breakfast too! ;-) I do not believe in sticking to a certain tradition. Food is to be enjoyed when someone wans o enjoy i.

Yes there has been a few times where breakfast was dinner the basics eggs, grits and toast or just eggs and sausage or bacon. Really you can eat it when ever you want to eat it. It's till a meal to me but it is the tradition to be called breakfast food.

I sometimes have cereal and milk for dinner instead of breakfast but I don't like to play with my lunch, When it is lunch time I need to have rice or pasta or potatoes. Also with some sorta meat sometimes. I rarely eat dinner at all but when I do it's sometimes pizza or if I'm in the mood...cereal and milk!

We do this a lot in our house. Eggs, sausage and pancakes are one of my kids favorite meals. Usually it's too much to eat for breakfast, but it's just perfect for dinner time.
