Is your spouse romantic?

Mine isn't and I'm glad. If he brought me flowers and made sweet talk to me I think I'd cringe. What I like is when he fixes me a cup of coffee in the morning without me having to ask for it, I would rather him snap a danilion off in the yard and give it to me than a bouquet of roses. Just tell me you love me once and while instead of whispering sweet nothings in my ear. Do you like your spouse to be romantic?

I think my partner is romantic. I get flowers that they had to sneak to get, I'm given things they know I'll want (it can be as simple as a drink) or something like a gift. They let me sleep in when they know I didn't get a lot of sleep the night before and they make me food sometimes. I just like knowing someone cares enough to make things or get things for me.

lol, I think I posted that discussion wrong. I confused romance with consideration. I think you have the best of both.

My fiance isnt romantic in the way most like, i just like it when he tells me he loves me, and stay over late at night, it's just the little things that get me.

Would you like him to be? Like whispering sweet nothings in your ear and stuff?

Mine doesn't have a romantic bone in his body as far as actions go. He will write me a beautiful poem once in a while and every couple of years he will bring me a bouquet of flowers (which i love) and if i ask he will massage my back when i am in pain or having muscle spasms and although that probably doesn't come under the romantic heading it does show that he cares that i am in pain and is willing to take time to try to make me more comfortable.

Cathy, he write you a poems? That is so beautiful. When I think of someone being romantic I remember the way my first husband was. I think that's what has put me off with the romance stuff. Anytime he did something, he had to make sure it was done with a full audience at hand so everyone could see what he was doing. Makes me want to puke to even think about it.

lol, I guess that really wouldn't fall under the catagory for romance would it? That's more under the consideration catagory. Either way mine doesn't have a romantic bone in his body. Which is fine with me.
