MGS 1, 2 or 3?

Which one you like,
the first PS version of MGS?
MGS 2 in both XBox and PS2?
MGS 3 that play role of Big Boss in PS2?
or the upcoming MGS4 in PS3?
Personally I think MGS3 is not bad,
but a lot of critic from other forum,
which I don't know why.
But I think if I have PS3,
I will buy MGS4 once it's release.

MGS 2 in both PS2 and Xbox,
just with different name and some different mode.
PS2: Son of Liberty
XBox: Substance
New Mode in XBox:
Special mission and Special story.

MGS, easily.
MGS2 was a poor shadow of MGS (and was practically designed to be such). MGS3 is very good, but cannot stand up to the story and character designs and concepts of MGS.
MGS4 looks set to be amazing... but I'm not sure it will stand up to the perfection of MGS.
BTW, MGS is also available for the GameCube; much, much shinier.
I must have played MGS 30 times, and watched the FMV 50 times... especially the last half an hours worth. It has a wonderful story, over the top but not so insane as to be utterly unbelievable. The only thing MGS2 and 3 have on MGS are graphics. And that means nothing in the games world.
