With the democratic nomination seemingly in favor of Obama and Hillary still hanging on to campaigning... Can you see her run for president as an independent candidate?

Yep I believe that is what she will do, she feels her party has not stood behind her, and that will give her the reason to run as independant, only thing that will do is split the vote to make it easier for McCain to win, she has said she will give her support to Obama but I don't believe that, she will not quit till the end, she believes she deserves it just because she is a Clinton.

Now, there's an interesting scenario. Normally, I'd disregard the thought of a independent candidate considering there is no strong third party. However, I'd really like to see this and she would certainly get my vote. Also, its hard these days to totally discount a non Republican, non-Demorat candidate since Joe Lieberman proved it can be done on a pretty high level. Why not?

It is too hard to run as an independent. You have to qualify to get on each and every state's ballots. The only parties that automatically qualify for inclusion are those that received a certain percentage of votes in the last election. An independent does nto meet that threshhold. So, they would have to go through each state's qualification process. It is time consuming, difficult and expensive. She will never do this. She is planning something for the convention. She knows it is the Democratic nomination or nothing.

I only see her doing this if she feels her party has betrayed her and that she will not see another chance to run. She will be pushing the 70 mark when she gets her next chance in 8 years if Obama or McCain get re-elected.
