Many of Obama's close associates are turning out to be racist. He has spent a good deal of time with these people and has worked hard to raise money for them. Do you believe him when he says that he is disappointed in their actions or is it just political gibberish? Do you think Barack Obama is racist?

I don't know what to think of Obama anymore, he says one thing and talks out of his mouth at the same time, I know he has a low opinion of people who are not as educated as he is,and ones that don't have his weath, or small town people. ON YOUTube there is several videos of him talking about the white people and how we have hatred against others. I did not like what he said. I will not vote for him, and what about the new preacher that took over the church, he is already making almost the same comments that the other one did. And he sits there and listens to it again. I think if I did not beleive what they are saying I would find another church to go to.Yes I think he is racist when it come to the white race, it is almost like he is trying in some way to get back at us, for his mother being white.

I don't think it has anything to do with his mother being racist. I think that the nonsense espoused by his "spiritual advisers" has been more ingrained than anyone realizes.

I love the cries of racism, sexism or any other "ism" that might ring true on any given day. I have no idea if he is genuinely disappointed with these associates actions, I suspect he is more disappointed with just how much irrelevant crap is out there that in no way has any real bearing on him or the case he is trying to make and yet may dis rail his bid for the White house. Personally the latest comments though not particularly relevant in a church are probably pretty accurate - I just wish someone had the guts to say so ( I believe Clinton did think the nomination was hers by right. As for Obama being racist no I don't he is probably the least racist person in America, a half black man raised in an almost white environment discovering his "black" roots later in life. I believe gives him a unique and amazing perspective from booth sides of the fence like no other candidate could ever bring to the table.

I think you are right. Obhama is probably one of the least racist candidates around. Although some of his associates have said somethings that are pretty dubious, he himself has actually not made being black an issue in this campaign despite the fact that everyone has been pointing out that he would become the first ever black president if he wins. And besides, the guys on Obhama's team have not made remarks that are any worse than what comes out of the mouths of John Hagee and gang on the Republican side. However, I think Obhama does have a problem. And that's to do with class. If you notice in the areas he's lost, they've always been in "working class" areas, while he's always been able to do well amongst college graduates and the elite - the very people who buy his "Vision of Change," thing. The working class don't really care too much about his vision, they want to know things that are going to make their lives better. If the man is serious about winning the election, he's got to start appealing to the White Working Class (hard working Americans).
