points has nothing to do with the earnings... ----------------------------------------------------------- ========================================== To Earn More: 1. Respond in posts not comments. 2. Comment back to ALL responses to your discussions. 3. Tag all your responses with AS many words as possible 4. Answer a wide variety of topics. 5. Answer questions with no response (see brain busters) 6. Apply plus ratings to everyone 7. When you reply in posts write a minimum of 4 lines and don't babble, make quality replies. 8. Keep discussions going. 9. Make freinds that can help you out. 10. Aim for over 50 posts per day to different discussions

Forget all above. Just imagine a discussion with your friend. You raises the questions with your friend. Your friend answers. Based on the answer you make another question. OK! This is the live discussion. MyLot also wants all these discussions in the same way. Don't made Single word postings. Creativity brings more options for raising questions further. In this way responding by discussion maker comes and make it healthy.

It would be nice if they just came out and gave hints on what we can do to earn the maximum amount per post.

The number in parenthesis is your rating and it has nothing to do with your earnings.

I don't get it buy I also don't hold my breath that I will recieved anymore than 1 cent per response at best. I make more sometimes. It really doesn't seem to follow a pattern and they really should tell us exactly how pay is determined. But I enjoy this anyways. I am up to $23.00 with over 1500 rating so I don't mind. As long as I am getting something it is fun to join in and chat with people all over the world.

The points are actually your rating, and although that does affect your earnings, you cannot just take your rating and say you should have earned a certain amount of money. What you are paid depends on the quality of your responses, any best response, positive (+) or negative (-) rating you are given by another member and also the photos or images that you upload.

I've observed that from your profile, you've given answers as a student to the examination with plain one word or two answers. Further most of your discussion lacking scope for live discussions. Ex. What do you prefer Book or TV? This will not give you money as per myLot rules. So you advised to think differently and made live discussions regularly. Thank you! I think you are bored by me.

So does anyone know what the points actually do for us? Do they pay us partly based on our points or do they really not do anything? I'm still trying to figure this all out too.
