Really...highway funding is tied to the public option? I don't even have the ambition to read this thing. I've started but it's like reading a horror story. |

I'm taking a brake from trying to read the thing... still got over 1,900 to go. Yeah I don't buy health insurance... not because I couldn't afford it but my husband and I choose to put or money to other things since neither of us go to the doctor often and have a great doctor who discounts our bill for not having health insurance. Medicaid is a huge problem in New York and the private practices... |

MAKE BELIEVE!!!!. 2 weeks ago I completely agree... through my father's company I've spoken with wealthy very successful intelligent people who dropped out of high school. My father himself barely passed high school never went to college and has his own business and has self educated himself to reach the level he's at today. My husband is getting his degree but it's only because the job he wants requires him to have that pi... |

I had a doctor's appointment this week... cost me $44 for the visit no health insurance. That is more than they would have got from when I had Tricare and saves them money in processing the claim and fighting with the insurance company! What's going to be created by this system is that the private health insurance companies will subsidize the government health insurance until the private health... |

I will see what I can find. I've heard that in it is the fine will be something like 2.5%+ of your gross income if you don't purchase healthcare. I've already noticed a ton of things that will definitely raise the cost of purchasing health care and also the new restrictions on pre-existing condition time limits makes it even easier to not purchase and just sign up if something comes up. I'm try... |

Thanks for best response. I've had to recently go to my doctors for a bad sinus and respiratory infection. My doctor's visit cost me $44 got in and got out no problem. One prescription they gave me samples they had, two I got on for $4 each. Now I think I got quite the deal. I gave up about mid way through that bill. It was obvious it's a disaster, and it's unconstitutional anyway. I don't thin... |

That doesn't happen... you can not be turned away for one of life saving care in America and if you look at the countries with socialized healthcare that there are more cases where children are not given proper care because they ration care. I know a woman who had to go to St. Jude Children's Hospital. She almost died giving birth to her daughter and her daughter was born with all these complic... |

Yeah I know what you mean, we lived in Maryland for a while where I had to go to the clinic because a doctors visit was $115! People like you unfortunately are really between a rock and a hard spot in they pay government healthcare because I'm sure you as an individual don't make under $16,600 or what it is (I know it's around that). People don't seem to realize that if you are a working indivi... |

Does anyone realize health insurance companies only make 2-6% profit! Regulations is why health insurance is so expensive. More regulations on what insurance companies MUST cover are in this bill on top of all there already is. This raises the cost for everyone! |
