The Importance of First Aid and CPR

I got my First Aid and CPR through my work back in October and thankfully have not had to use it until yesterday! As some of you may or may not know I work as a cashier at a grocery store and I was at cash yesterday with a line up when I heard the code over the intercom....By the time I could get relieved from my cash I was not the first to arrive on scene but I did run and call 911 after assessing that they were likely not answering the cell phone call! A Young mother (31) of three and her husband were shopping when she had a Focal Seizure...Thankfully her husband was there and is also Certified...He recognized the condition, although she has no history of this, and helped her down to the floor....Adrenalin rushing for me to say the least!!!! So, I am curious...How many here have their certification and if you do, have you ever had to use it? If not, would you consider getting it? Why or Why Not?
