Battery needs recalibration

I keep getting the message the battery needs to recalibrate. What does this mean? I've left it plugged in overnight with the AC adaptor attached. What else do I need to do?

here's a link: http://lifehacker.com/software/laptop/how-to-recalibrate-your-laptop-battery-130735.php it says, you have to turn of your screensavers and other power management settings. full charge your laptop and let it run to drain until it shuts off. hope this helps!
