Our pool turns green too, we found it was a problem with our vacuum. Is your vacuum fairly new? Ours was moving around but wasn't cleaning the algae off because some parts of it were not functioning properly. Also, in the hotter months I've found that we need to scrub our pool more. Is your pool a bromine pool or a chlorine pool? Our pool at home is on chlorine. I volunteer at a place where we have the nastiest pools, a marine mammal rehab center. We have to drain them and scrub the poop and algae out. I think the poop causes more algae to grow in those though. It takes a lot of scrubbing and a lot of bleach. If your pool is really bad (hopefully not that bad!), you might have to drain and scrub. Then just keep on top of it more to avoid further full on scrubbing and draining later.

hi shymurl, we had the same problem with our swimming pool last year. what we did was add some mineral stain out to it and it cleared up in two hours. Maybe you should give that a try . It worked for us. the only thing is you have to add it once a weak because the minerals have layers. good luck i hope this helps

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060803134308AA6I9Ao maybe those answers will help. I had to drain it once and keep shocking it. Maybe contact the place where you bought the pool for info. I hope you get it fixed soon .
