Onion bargies

Can you help me please???? I have a list of ingredients to make onion bargies but don't know how much of things to use, can anyone help me? roughly chopped onion mashed pots tin chick peas 2 eggs sprinkling curry powder garlic Salt and pepper mix together into small balls spray with oil, cook in oven 25 mins Can you fill in the gapes etc for me as I want to cook very soon. Thanks

awww.. shucks they are bhaji's .......thought bargies was somethin different...... its the onion rings which come out tops !

Here is a recipe for onion bhaji's- Ingredients: 5 medium onions 1 fresh green chili 2 tsp ginger and garlic paste 200g gram flour 100g rice flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp curry powder 1/4 tsp chili powder 2 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground coriander salt and pepper to taste water 1. Finely chop one onion and green chili. 2. Sift the flours, baking powder, and spices into a large bowl. Addd finely chopped onion and chili. 3. Slowly add water while stirring mixture until you have a thick batter. 4. Coarsely chop remaining 4 onions and add to batter. Mix well and leave to stand 10 min. 5. Heat deep fat fryer to 190c. Carefully lower 3-4 golf ball sized spoonfuls into the oil. Remove when crisp and brown. Approx. 5 min. Makes 15-20.

hey pal this is a nice way to make bhajiyas i dont add the baking powder it not that healthy but i will make as ui havec written i dont sift the flours too.thankyou.

I've never heard of them before, but it does sound like an interesting recipe. I will try to go and look it up on line tomorrow when I get a minute. Might be a fun recipe to make during the winter. Gets way too hot here during the summer for lengthy dishes.
