I think speaking to our pets is one of the best way to get closer with our pets. Most time dogs do understand what we speak. Have you tried to talk with your dogs? What was his or her reaction? Was your dog paying attention to what you say?

I do speak to my dog and hhe understand me very well. his eyes speak and the reaction he do are beautifull. He dont listen to anyone else but me. Speaking to my dog makes me feel fresh, relaxed and out of stress. He is an intelligent dog, in short he is like us - understand every thing. enjoy :)

talking dog - dogs are very clever and cute animals. they are humans' best friend. i love dogs.
Hello dear ajithlal. I have a tiny dog. It is very cute and my family love him very much. Whenever we call him to follow us, he would always run all the way to us and wag his tail as if he understood us. I like my dog very much and treat him as a family member.

I always talk to my dog. We have a hamster also and I talk to him too. I think my dog and my hamster know what I am saying some of the times. My dog always pays attention to what I say and he turns his head side to side when I speak to him. He also barks at me sometimes like he is answering me also. My hamsoter hears my voice and he starts looking for me.

Yes,I also did that when I'm a young boy and I think that they could understand me.I also found it's a really interesting thing. I think there are more and more children will do that while little of them have brothers or sisters.

Yes, and always. I always speak to my dog, and I know they can understand. If you hold my dog hand and said "I want to bite you", she will get angry and bite you first. If you said "Bath Time", then you will found that my dog already missing. She will go to hide, cause she hate bath.

Yes, I speak to my dog as though she were another human being. 3 For the most part she responds accordingly. Dogs are smarter than most people take them for.

We always speak to our dog. We will start it when the dog is still a baby and we will really notice that he/she is paying attention. He knows our voice when we want him to sit down or behave,he can tell when we want to play with him. I love talking to them and when I tease our dog like prolonging before I will give the food, he will also prolong his bark..LOL
