Well the last few days I have sort of been absent from mylot. I have been busy with my yard. Plus I was burnt out once again from too much mylot in may. Anyhow I have been seperating and transplanting a lot of floers etc all over the yard and flower boxes. First I cleared part of my raised bed out back to make room for my astillibes which were getting suffocated from Irises and native reed grass I have planted. So I removed some and transplanted a couple of my astillibees here. Now I have more of the raised are to clear and split etc to make it more appealing to my eyes. This area had 2 astillibes and a few other Irises as well as the ones visible. Ignore the weeds etc growing. The wind blew junk all over as well. I have yet to get to that as severe storms are on the horizon. HAPPY GARDENING FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I have done that also to my veggies Grandpa since they are also crowded! They are more appealing to my eyes now..LOL! I have just a problem with my veggies, their leaves were eaten, they are very healthy but I do know what insects are eating them. I hate it, I tried to cultivate the soil from time to time!

I thinned out my sweet corn recently and planted another 40 or so green and yellow onions as well. Soon I will have the cauliflower to thin out as well. I don't have problems with insects. Just the rays of the sun is all. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well its not his fault we just have no money to get rid of all the debris just yet. Do you know any cheap options for removal? I gotta look into this.

You need to tell him you and the grandsons need the room for emergencies which can happen at a split second. Get on his case about this. Maybe I'll tell him? Starting to just get dark here right now is all. Chilly though. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM DADDY !!~

Landscaping and gardening are art.. of course.. a painting and, or decorating with nature.. It seems likely to me you have a vision for this plot! I look forward to seeing the picture when you're 'done'!

Flood waters - The result of over 4" of rain in under 3hrs.
With the high winds we had last night and the resulting storm, my yard didn't have that many branches/sticks to pick up b4 I cut my yard tonight. I just came in a lil while ago. I couldn't cut it all thou, as you can see in the attached pic. I took this pic this morning from my patio door. It rose 6" since then. No rain in the forecast for tonight but there is for tomorrow.

You sure have done alot to this flower bed. All that needs to be done now is weed and mulch. I weeded my one flower bed as well b4 cutting the grass. I'm lazy. I just toss the weeds into the lawn to mow over later. lol Tomorrow, I'm going to spread the grass clippings I raked up after mowing tonight in the flowerbed I just weeded .
