How often do you suffer from a bad hair day?... back in high school and college... everyday for me was a bad hair day... and it even came to a point that i had my hair cut so short that i practically looked like a boy... but the bad hair day did not disappear... Nowadays... i still have this day... but i no longer let it affect my life... i don't know if that is the result of becoming more mature... or if i just find hair clips and band work miracles... How do you cope up with a Bad Hair Day?...

I cope with a bad hair by tying my hair with a hair band. My hair is down to my waist and it is easiest to just tie my hair back in the fashion so that it doesn't get in my face and drive me nuts. LOL

I'm the same way. Once it would reach a certain length (usually the back of my bra line) I would get it cut. And as much as I've always wanted long hair I just couldn't do it until a few years ago. But as my husband wants it long it helps me from getting it cut!

You remind me of my friend... sometimes she thinks that her husband married her just because of her long hair...

When my hair was really long, I just put it "Up" when I did not feel like messing with it, and now I wear it short enough to not need styling. However, a couple days ago I did make what I thought might have been a terrible mistake. I put the length extender on my robocut "machine" that I cut my own hair with and started cutting, but did not realize that hubby had used mine and put it together backwards. So I am cutting away and all of a sudden I realized that it didn't sound right and I put my hand up to feel and eGads, it felt so short I thought I was going to look bald! I was too freaked to even look in the mirror and instead went to show hubby and he said it looked great, so then I looked in the mirror. Hah, it did, and I really like it and plan to keep it this short at least for the rest of the summer. It is unlikely that anyone will mistake me for a boy.

Thanks for the photos and link... not i know what a robocut is... and to think it has been around that long... i think i will ask my sister to buy one for me in Texas... that would certainly save me a lot of money from going to the salon...

It is a step up from a device called Flowbee, but the robocut was designed to work better on curly hair so it can be used on pets, too, and of course people with tight curls. Now there is a uTube video on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Toh7qV5E8E&feature=related Hubby and I have both used these devices for many years, 18 years in fact. Just think of all the time and money we have saved. The cutter hooks up to a vacuum cleaner so not one bit of hair falls onto your shoulders or the floor. Here is a still picture of mine: http://www.doityourselfhut.com/vacuum%20hair%20cutter.htm

I throw my baseball cap or one of the many I have and go. It seems lately I always have a bad hair day and the caps come in handy.

the first time i heard about bad hair day. LOL. mostly i am not bother with my hair because i am a boy so after combing it, it's gonna be okay. i know girls did to what is best for their hair because boys are also particular to girl's hair. i don't like a girl who is boyish hair in nature.

Most boys are not that conscious about how their hair will look... since they have very short ones... but i know of some guys who take like forever in setting their hair with gel... just so it will stand or be spiked... thanks for the response...

How come you have everyday as your bad hair day? that's really too bad because I really believe that everyone's best can be pointed out especially when you know how to express yourself and actually make the best look you can do. Since I'm a nursing student, I actually have my hair always neatly tied up and being put upon hair net. Now that I'm in my second year, I have to be extra careful - not letting any STRAND fall off (unlike last year that I am only concerned with tying it up in a knot)

If I have a bad hair day I am just leting my hairs do whatever they want to ^^. It's not healthy to worry about such things. You can always turn such thing into a joke. Cheers and happy myloting.

Have you ever thought of having it straightened?... but i bet a lot of women admire your bouncy curly hair... there is a certain popular actress here in my country with the same type of hair... and a lot of people copied her hairstyle... thanks for the response...

I have a very bad hair day when it was my 2nd year in my work, that was after College! I tried even to cut it also like a boy, and my family didn't like it..LOL! After trying relaxing and waxing once a year, it made me very confident to go out without spending so much time in the mirror fixing my hair! Until this time, even if I stop already going to the salon, I have no problem now, they are very arranged!LOL!

I think we will all outgrow bad hair days... but depending on the type of profession that we have... i still have bad hair days... but not as often as when i was still studying... back then... a pony tail is not enough... but today... it certainly is... thanks for the response...

Hello aseretdd, I seldom have a bad hair day. I keep my hair long and honestly, it is hard to take care of. My bad hair day always happen whenever I am late for something. If I can't manage to solve the problem, I just find the easiest way - just have a ponytail.

My hair right now is not very long but it is already below my shoulders and i plan to let it grow longer... so i don't often have a bad hair day... and just like you... whenever that happens... the pony tail is the easiest way to remedy it... thanks for the response...

I don't often experience a bad hair day, luckily for me... When I was still a child mother used to put coconut oil in my hair, I think that was the main reason why my hair is manageable. But if I do experience a bad hair day, I just pony tail my hair.

Lucky for you... coconut oil can make wonders for the hair... bad hair day for me started when using hairspray was a must... and i think that is partly to blame why my hair right now is dry and sometimes unmanageable... thanks for the response...
