there are lots of anime out there which was adapted from its respective manga.some are similar in storyline while others not.also, some anime adds 'filler' episodes which not included in the manga.what's your opinion?should we stick to the manga or watch the fillers?

I'll usually read the Manga first then watch the animes. Currently I just finish watching Tsubasa Chronicles Animes and OVA. I think the music is simply great. Even though, the anime does not strictly follow the manga, I still think it's good. I do not mind watching the fillers as long as it's still stick to the main theme of the manga. Some anime fillers are not too good though. They seem to be done for the sake of doing it. There's hardly any story line.

Could you believe the amount of fillers Naruto has before Naruto Shippuden came out?For some time I had lost my interest with the series.I was relieved when Shippuden finally came out,the story is becoming interesting again.I really like the akatsuki stories.

And some anime spawns manga that might be different and/or include filler. It works both ways. Me? Whichever one tells the story better, but I'll usually enjoy both (except for Chobits...)

The anime... it broke me. I only managed to get through the first episode (just about). It was just too spazzy. Though I love the music. And Hideki's seiyu is delicious (which is wrong!). His VA is my favourite; Crispin Freeman (again wrong! lol). I love the manga. I think I read it all in about a week. It just came out feeling more like Love Hina when I was expecting something with more of the feel of Fruits Basket. Yes, I know... wrong gender; I just don't like the spaz to outweigh the actual story telling... which is why FLCL and Excel Saga are beyond my comprehension. Hmmmm, I wonder if there's an Absolute Boyfriend anime yet... it's Chobits but with a sadder ending (I cried) and gender reversal. Nope... oh well. But there is a live action version of Tramps Like Us... worrying... *wonders off, muttering to herself*

I guess it's better to read shoujo mangas than its anime.

uhm, ionno, I kinda like it when the anime and manga are different, not filler, just different, cause otherwise it's kinda like "....I already read this."

Yeah,it's not fun to watch an anime that you'll know what'll happen next.

I prefer anime, but honestly many times is far worse than manga. Just look at Naruto for example. Anime is now worthless and manga is still good. I haven't seen any good episode till Sannins fight (something like 250 episodes ago!).

The Naruto fillers is rubbish.I guess they make anime because of the popularity of its manga,it does'nt matter how bad the anime is,if the manga is popular, the die hard fans will still watch every episode of its anime.

Anime is the best way to see action and adventure whilst Manga is for those who want things to speed up after watching some anime with all those filter episodes and long dialogues or flashbacks that only cover one page in a manga. I persoanllu prefer manga and that is my first, anime is only good when I like a specific manga and would enjoy watching the episode. Current mangas i read are the best and the anime is pretty well , I only pick those that dont have too much filters in manga or anime

Yeah, manga is better if you don't like to see "to be continued" at the end of the anime.

Manga anyday. It's alot faster to endure the story than anime. Now anime is cooler as it has the sound and effects but if you don't want to take the time buying or streaming the videos manga is the best. I used onemanga.com currently reading full metal alch

Right now, there's a lot more manga that i like then anime. I like anime in high action things. i like manga mostly for the storylines. I like reading the shoujo type mangas now days and watching the shounen type anime. its just how i am. like naruto for example. i like watching the anime because the fighting sequences are a lot better (same goes for bleach and one piece) but i also like reading the manga because i know its ahead of the anime. but i like fillers to. since i read the manga ahead, the fillers new to me so it keeps me on my toes.

I actually like both, in that they usually compliment each other. The manga has the detail and story, while anime has the action and atmosphere.
