Hot!!! 90 degrees outside with heat index of over 100!

We only have a very slight breeze at the tree tops here. It doesn't seem to be getting down to ground level. Such drastic changes in the weather these days! I agree about the humidity. I doubt that anyone loves it except maybe bugs. When I was out watering my plants, I was swarmed! They love our body "odor" and perspiration really seems to spread that around 1,000-fold! After the last few "rainstorms" we've had, I don't want to see another one for a long time! A nice, slow, soaking rain would do just fine!

Yep. Very strange weather we've been having. In our forecast, we're supposed to have 90+ degrees for the next 5 days, then it's supposed to "cool off" to the upper 80's. I hope my poor veggies don't keel over in this heat! I know they love the humidity, but it's just too darned hot! Take care!

Can I come over and play... now? Please????? I just went through my first 2 tornado warnings because of this weird weather. Hot and humid during the day, then cooler and much less humid during the night... perfect for brewing up some monster storms!

Wwe'll have abit of humidity but not too much!! Its meant to be sunny tomorrow I think. I hope so, I fancy just sitting outside with a nice book catching a few rays!!

Sure, I'll be glad to send you some heat and sunshine, as long as you take some humidity along with it! I'm definitely a "sunny, warm weather person", but this is ridiculous! We had one day, I believe it was just last week, where it didn't even reach 60 degrees outside! Now we're in the middle of a heat wave. This is July or August weather, not early June! I think we'll be ordering pizza and Chinese delivery for awhile and give them extra-large tips for being so brave in this sweltering weather). I don't even want to go out to the grocery store.
