To anyone new or unfamiliar with it... this is my weekend discussion that I have every so often. I share what's going on with me, you also share weekend plans, we have fun. Now that the (should be) obvious stuff is out of the way...! LIVE!! From the newly refurbished Hyperastra Lab and Spacefortress, coming to you on your radio at the FM band of 111.7, while dodging violent lightning storms and unknown government spacecraft, and somehow able to appear right on top of your computer as an unusual but cute gizmo...it is...! ***Pro's free for all weekend!!!*** This time brought to you with talent on loan from Raktajino (Klingon Coffee) Welcome to the discussion and I'll start with the most pressing question... "Where the **** was I these past few weeks!?" Well, I took a small break from lot to do something for Mother's day. Went back home for a bit to help out and treated the parents to a casino night. Also had a dinner with family for the other mothers. Anyways, I wanted to take a break from mylot... burnout happens, as does irritation. I did not intend for the "break" to turn this long, but things in real life developed too. The past few work weeks were nice, long and brutal. After coming back from them I either wanted to game or wanted to sleep. Work itself is dealing with a lot of projects, several visits to towns and developments, and some computer issues. I'm also dealing with a computer error (its old age so don't worry too much). On the side, the weather here hasn't been that great either making online and computer sessions null(storms, power outages). On yet another hand, I'm dealing with a couple of other employment opportunities too. And recently, I spent a couple of days helping out a couple of teachers pack about 30 years of classroom for a move the school is doing. Work can be rough, but physical labour can be rougher... it was still great to do that and help out. ********* Now that all of that is out of the way, how has everyone else been doing? This can be answered either with your own life and plans or things that happened on mylot (or both of course). Maybe react to my absence, anyway you feel is right. You can also post something silly (please! =3). Oh yes, the hijack "rule" is still in effect!! Take care everyone. Have a safe and happy weekend!

Glad to say that I have been doing other things than mylot. I've done some weeding in the garden. Ughh really don't like that cuz I've also got nettles and have to be carefull not to get a rash from them. I'm going to have to water them down with pesticide in the watering can because they are starting to bloom and that means even more of the little suckers. Also I've been upset that gas went down and then went up like crazy. I'll be more upset on monday when I have to go out to get gas because I've got places to go and things to do that aren't around the corner.

Just be careful with the gardening... sounds like it'll be rough. I have to agree with you on the gas prices though. (Jokingly: I'll yell at the eggheads back at the lab to get to work on alternatives ;p)

Take care Hatley. I'd say maybe a new hobby or two is in order. Perhaps a sport, but it could be anything. Maybe even brush up on an old hobby or two. Just thinking outloud to help you out with your boredom See you later!

Oh, Pro, you know me, you haven't been around lately to keep me grounded and calmed down so I've been getting into all kinds of trouble! I'm not sure but I think I'm may be the anti-Christ (can a woman be that?) as well as a commie and a socialist and a basic, garden-variety dumb-a$$! I'm uninformed and unaware of my own surroundings and I didn't get a tax-cut from our beloved President Bush because I don't deserve one! I still don't know enough to keep my big mouth shut and stop giving my opinion on a forum that, in my ignorance and stupidity, I thought was an opinion forum! Anyway, as is often the case with ignoramuses like myself, I'm just as happy as a hog in $hit! Thanks so much for asking. Annie

Did you see the post about your absence? I didn't read the comments (sorry) so I don't know if someone already told you. We took the kids to the Funplex. They did bumper boats and laser tag and my 9 year old son rode a few of the rides that my 7 year old daughter was too chicken to ride. We all played miniature golf while trying to keep our 2 year old from stealing the golf balls. My husband had a 3 day weekend this week since he had to work one of his days off a couple of weeks ago. It was really nice. I know it's not weekend anymore but right now I am listening to my daughter sing Metallica on Rock Band while my husband plays guitar. It is too cute. I wrote a discussion today about my biggest news of the weekend. Aside from dealing with not dealing with that news... Well, that's about all we did. Hung out and had family time.

Hey Pro, It's nice to see you back. I was thinking about you when I saw your name posted in another discussion. It was nothing bad just a friend saying good things about you. I can't remember what discussion it was though. I have been super busy with work, and my online soap store, kids and just mainly life. Getting out in the hot sun that we finally have here. We had a couple little storms but nothing major here at least in my neck of the woods. But other than that, nothing to huge going on here.
