im asking all people out there? who still plays?

since the debut of the xbox 360 (my favorite) and the ps3, it appears that the ps2 has become obsolete. unless of course your keeping your ps2 around cause you dont want to buy a new guitar hero set, there is no point for the ps2. the graphics id have to say are so obsolete that you can get them on a portable device. the games arent very well constructed either. and wired controlers???? please thats a thing of the past. what i want to know is why many people are still buying ps2 games even tho they can get way better quality of gaming experience nowadays? that puzzles me each and every day~

I am a proud owner of PS2 and yes the PS2 is getting down after the arrival of next gen console that offers amazing graphics. But I am in no mood of buying the any next gen console so I am satisfied with my good old PS2. I think PS2 is the best console of his time and I think there plenty of games like God of War , Guitar Hero that makes PS2 a good bargain. Due to costliness of next gen console PS2 offers good gaming as affordable prices.

I have a Playstation 2. its all i really need and i hardly ever pick it up either. i didn't really want the ps3. far too expensive, and its just not necessary for me to have the newest and shiniest thing that comes along. i like silly things like eating and things like that.

i have a ps2 because i cant afford a next gen console. even if i could get a next gen, i'd buy a ps3 so i could still play my ps2 games. besides while the new games are awesome, they're crazy expensive.
