Hot Weather = POPSICLES!!!!!!!!

What is it with hot weather and children asking for Popsicles...My son can not get enough of them now that it is hot....He'll ask for one as soon as he finishes one! LOL
I even had one myself tonight and I must admit it was refreshing!
So, do you find this with your children?
How many do you allow them to have?

Popsicles are yummy!
I love them too.
My daughter doesn't ask for them
too often.
But when they are in the house she
wants one.
She wants anything related to icecream
or sweets.
She usually just gets the one, though! LOL!

My boy is the same when anything like that is in the house he wants it!

Well NOw I have to have one!! lol
I get only the grape ones because that is the flavor my DD doesn't like.
I buy a big box and it usually last all summer. She doesn't eat them every day or a lot of them at once so I don't have to limit them. I have made them before but got out of the habit. I guess I better get back in the habit. They really are much better and I can limit the sugar that way.

We very often make our own heavens and depending on what they are made of they van have as many as they want - within reason of course! Have you tried making your own - all you need is the moulds which you can buy quite cheaply and either make them with cordial or fresh fruit juice -= the kids love deciding what flavour to make and helping make them! xxx

So true Mo! I have molds here that I use that I purchased at the dollar store for just a dollar each and they are wonderful! :)

My son loves to eat popsicles all year round, but especially in the summer months. I normally limit him to 1 at a time. He will get one and then have to wait a few hours at least before he gets another, but usually a limit of 2 a day. He does not need all that sugar.

OMG!!!!!!!
My kids love popsicles, and although maybe I should be embarrassed to say this, but I'm not my kids can eat like three in a row...actually a lot more than that if I let them. But I do let them eat a lot of popsicles in a row. Hey, the popsicles keep them quiet...until they come and ask for another one...but I just can't help it, I love my moments of solitude. Anyway, just wanted to say that my kids love popsicles...and I do too.

I can be guilty of that also latoyahall!!
I like to make my own as often as possible to control the sugar though!
