Do you get the cable channel Planet Green in your area? I think it is new. In my area it has replaced the Discovery Home channel.
I have been so into it lately. I love all the ideas for everything from home decorating to eating more eco-friendly. I can't get enough of this channel or this type of information for that matter.
Let's make this a more interesting discussion.... give me your best 'going green', eco-friendly tip.

I have satellite so I will have to look and see. If I do, you can be sure I will be watching it!!! I am going to look now.

Me too my friend. I was glad to finally have a another channel to add to the mix so my husband would stop with the jokes of our TV being broken and always 'stuck' on my channel.

Hi dear
i dont have such channel , but sure discovery and National Geographics, but what u r stating is sound good addition.
Well best tip as far as i am concern, that have plants at ur home/house, dont use plastic bags etc, add ur share and other will add their. individual efforts is important to generate collective effort

Yep we have it and I like watching it sometimse. I like seeing all the green home renovations they show. It really makes me want to change this home around even though I know at this point in time it's just not possible. I wish it were though because I'd love to have solar panels put onto the house to really help cut our electric bill. We definitely need all the help we can get in that department. We have installed CFL bulbs in several of our lights but I'm not sure how much of a difference we're seeing on the bill. There is always room for improvement.

I don't have cable honey but I sometimes wish I did! You know Niall is a very involved member of his school eco club and is really into the environment? He has been to many events because of this even making a presentation to the Headteachers of Scotland conference and he is going to the Scottish Education awards ceremony on Friday where his eco club co-ordinator is a finalist in one of the categories! My best tip is to recycle, recyle, recycle! xxx

Great tip, recycling becames fun once you get in the swing of it.
It is so great that Niall is involved in the eco club. Kids are our future especially in areas such as this.
