You know when you start reading a book and it sucks you in so deeply that hours go by because you cant put it down? What was that book for you and how much time did you spend reading it consecutively?

There's been several of them. I'm like that when it comes to the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. Actually, I'm like that when it comes to all my favorite authors, which includes Sophie, Jane Green, and Marian Keyes. Another is the Katie Chandler series by Shanna Swendson. It started with Enchanted, Inc. and since then, I can't wait to see what happens to Katie. And, of course, Harry Potter. I can't tell you how long I've been glued to the books but I know it's hours. There are times when I have to force myself to put it down so I'll eat or sleep.

The James Frey book, the one that turned out to be a fake, unfortunately, was a book that had me spellbound. It's really unfortunate because he's a talented guy who could have made a fortune as a writer, now I'm afraid he won't ever be published again, since that whole scandal situation came out.

I read The Hobbit front to back in a day when I was sick as a kid, and more recently, I read Old Man and The Sea from about 3am on until it was done. Some books just do that to me:)

I guess almost all of the books I've read, I'm too engrossed when reading something. Especially if the book is nice and from my favorite authors. There were times that I've read novels from one author. Just kept on reading his books because I really admire his writings, his talent and his creativity.

There have been many such books in my life, and the one that was the most recent was ESCAPE by Carolyn Jessop, about her life as a member of the Polygamous cult of the FLDS. I highly reccomend that book to all.
