Are you throwing caution to the wind and eating raw tomatoes or are you giving them up for the time being?

I am eating tomatoes. I have to say that I almost want to laugh at people who freak out about every.single.scare that comes across on the news. I am not a believer of most news stuff anyway, not unless I actually know somebody affected. There was a fresh spinach scare not too long ago and due to that I did choose to throw out the spinach I bought but my friend bought hers at the same time and she got sick.

Nope I'm definitely not eating tomatoes now..and won't until it's considered safe...I've had food poisoning once and believe me...it's NOT fun

No one in my immediate family likes tomatoa so this scare wont' impact me. I know alot of people will be missing those fresh tomatos in their salad! Salmonella is nothing to mess with and I would rather be safe than sorry.

I have never been fond of tomatoes at all so thankfully this scare does not affect me at all.

I heard about this this morning. I would check where my tomatoes came from if I was worrying about it. But, a lot of tomatoes come from Florida, they say, and they say those tomatoes are safe. So, if you live there or get your tomatoes from there, you have nothing to worry about. Then again, I would eat it anyway. It's all about the risk that you are willing to take.
