Chatting online for a greater span of time increases the typing speed a lot but depriciates the grammatical portion. How many agree ??

Before I begin, how long have you tried chatting? I've done it for the last 10years or more. I guess it could really increase your typing speed because I see it with my other family members and friends, indeed their typing speed increase. But as for grammar? I don't think it diminishes ones ability. I say, if you have it ~ you have it. If not, then no. hehe.. If you're really wondering what type of medium truly depreciates the grammatical skills at the same time diminishes the spelling prowess, that would be the cellphone and the SMS generation. Anyhow, I guess chatting is the best way to practice your grammar at the same time your speed. I'm pretty lucky though since I have a typing class way back in my high school years, so chatting has made me type faster with the right finger placement unlike most who type fast but their fingers just go anywhere. haha.. Good luck! it's a good topic by the way.
