She finally discovered Shrek!

My daughter watched Shrek for the first time a few days ago and now she will watch nothing else. The little stinker is only 16 months old, but she knows how to climb up and put a tape in the VHS player and eject it. I put in a different movie today and when I left the room for a second she climbed up and ejected the Winnie the Pooh tape and stuck the Shrek one back in. Anyone else have a kid who is obsessed with watching the same movie over and over?

This sounds so much like my daughter, she is not even 2 and very advanced for her age. My daughters is Dora. She will run around walmart going DORA DORA DORA and pointing to everything that had Dora on it. She loves watching Dora every morning. Care bears is the one that she watches over and over we have The Excersise Show and she dances to it.

Your daughter is so funny and way talented! She is only a year and four months old but look at how clever she is at being able to eject and put in a VHS tape. I bet she is very observant and her liking to watch the same movie is normal, so don't fret about it.

your daughter is a very smart kid. =) my 1st son loves watching dora the explorer and blues clues. he also likes the movie "toy story" and madagascar. my 2nd son likes to watch brainy baby. and it helps him a lot because he is a bit delayed in speech. my youngest (which is a girl) loves to watch dora as well. =)

Very smart indeed. My daughter at that age went thru a faze of thinking the VCR was hungry-LOL
thought it was neat to feed it a grilled cheese sandwich then mac & cheese. went thru 3 of them.
