For the longest time, I used two pillows. Now adays, it depends more on the height and support of the pillow itself than the number of pillows. If I have a pillow that is supportive enough on its own (but not too stiff), then one is plenty. I definitely cannot do with no pillows, however, as that is always pretty uncomfortable.

I use two. My husband also uses 2. Our 5 year old uses 1. I guess it just depends on your comfort level. Or what you get used to.

Smiling at the Slip - Natural Beauty
Hi. Well i m not into a habit of using more than one pillow. It actually depends on the pillow. Sometimes, i find the pillow too soft and too low, that i feel like taking another pillow to keep under my head for sleeping. Currently, i use 2 pillows to keep under my head before sleeping. Sometimes, i may go without taking any but its only under forced circumstances like when i am travlling in a train. But, otherwise i prefer to have atleast one. I do feel pain when the height becomes too high and being a long necked person, my neck aches more. but when the height of the pillow is too low, i feel uncomfortable while sleeping.

It depends on the thickness of the pillow, if it is a thick pillow then I may only need one, but if they are thin pillows then I could use up to three, but on average I used two pillow. At home I use two pillows, but the pillow thickness is at other people's houses are different, so the amount of pillows change. At my boyfriends I use about 2/3 pillows and that is the only other places I sleep at people.

I use 5 pillows but only one for the head. Ever since I was a kid I always liked having lots of pillows. Wouldn't mind a while room full of pillows. All shapes and sizes. :D

All my life I've always preferred 3 pillows to sleep with. I like one for my head and two for my sides. It makes me feel more secure and protected, like sleeping in a soft nest. Plus, the side pillows are easy to reach when I need to hug something when I sleep.

hi chennai. before i use two pillows, one for my head and the other one to hug. right now though, i noticed that i can do with only one. i don't need a pillow for my head but rather just something to hug while sleeping.

I have always used two pillows I have to have my head up high for it's easier to sleep that way for me. I find it gives the head more support and helps me to sleep better. When I wake up sometimes not both pillows are under my head one will be pushed away from the other one.

Hai chennai!I usually kept only one pillow for my head when i sleep but i god another pillow that is used for hugging.LOL.In my honest opinion,i've tried sleeping with two pillow for my head,it does feel comfortable and i slept soundly like a baby.At certain time,i try sleeping with two pillow for my head but i get a headache and so i switch to one pillow.I slept like a baby again after switching.LOL.I think it depends on the pillow that u use actually.Sometimes, good pillows are better off alone. Some pillows, the thinner ones i think,is better to sleep with if we have two of them right.Well, its just my opinion.Cheers.

I use at least 2 sometimes 3 pillows. I can't sleep well with just one. I also have 2 or 3 pillows under my feet. it's how I sleep best. All growing up, my bed was full of stuffed animals and I just snuggled into all sorts of contortions with my body sleeping. Now there are no stuffed animals and so pillows are a must.

I use two pillows. Then I'm only using one but when I once try to use two pillows I realize that it's more comfortable to sleep with it so by now I'm already using two.

OK I am weird. One pillow is not enough but two pillows are not enough. So I cut one in half. No, not really! But I will overlap two pillows and sleep at the part where they overlap, so it is not quite as high as if I just stacked two pillows.

I have 9 pillows in my bed. 1 of it is a body hugger (that's my biggest pillow) and 2 are just small ones. A total of 9 pillows. But I don't usually put a pillow under my head when I sleep. I am just surrounded by my pillows and one I put over my head when sleeping. But when I get asthma attacks, I put 4 pillows on top of each other, thus I'm like sleeping in a sitting position. This way I could breathe easily when my asthma attacks. ;)
