Are You a Student?

If so what are you studying and where? In School or college or doing distance education? Are you participating in full time or part time courses? I have completed my studies long back and now again I have joined for post graduate diploma in Marketing. It is a distance education programme. So no need to attend classes. The university will provide syllabus and study materials I can study myself and attend the exam after one year.

I am s student like you AGAIN! I did finish my bachelor's degree in Nursing but opted to take 18 units of Education and some units in masteral for me to be a licensed teacher and be a professor in a university someday. I'll be taking those in the University of the Philippines. God bless us in our upcoming studies.

I did resign already to concentrate on my studies though... now I miss earning my own money. Anyway, thanks a lot for your concern. Hope I can read your response on my other postings as well. God bless us both

I'm a full time college student, but only for the next week now because it's exam time! I hate exams. Then its the summer, and I won't be a student again until September hopefully when i should be going to university if all goes well. I have to attend classes... or at least did have to before study leave. But I also work part time as well.

It is good that you are doing part time work along with your studies. Are you an under graduate student? what is your basic subject?

I'm not a student now. Since I was still in my secondary school, I sold newspaper for once. The experience is owful. It was a summer holiday, and I walked under the sun on the street, tried to sell my newspaper. I was hanging around almost whole day, only sell two. My classmate persist whole summer holiday, they sold newspaper everyday, and they earned little. But the experience is paid, as they are in the social, know how hard to make the money.

I am taking a medical transcription program omline. Career steps is great! They even help with finding a job for you when you are done. It was the only way I could work at home and be with my daughter. The pay is good. slow to start then builds up. It was my life saver. education is so important these days. You have to have some type of education.

Hi Honeydew I heard that in medical transcription course, you have to study thoroughly about human body and systems as well as medicine. Is it a tough course? Medical transcription is a very good career. I have a friend who is a medical transcriptionist and now she is working from home and earns a good amount by her own. God bless you in your studies.

As of now, I am not a student. I withdrew from the college I was at to get my dance company off the ground (and because things weren't going especially well due to unexpected personal problems in my life), however, I feel that I will be a student again at some point as I would like to do other things with my life as well besides just dance since it is nice to have a balance and be a well-rounded person. I study a lot of subjects on my own as of now, and do plan to continue my college education in some way when I feel ready. As of right now, I am just enjoying my life at a more relaxed pace after so many years of working so hard in school. It is nice to have a break to do things you really enjoy and want to do.

It is good to study as your own, if you can. It is nice to have a profession of your interest. Enjoying life is much more important than any other thing. People are seldom satisfied with their life. I am glad that you are enjoying your life and profession. All the best for your dance company and your study plans.

In 2002 I completed my degree in Arts (Writing). I am now currently studying part time through the same university to earn my Master of Arts (Writing). Most of the course content is delivered online, which is perfect for me, as I am currently living and working overseas. I should have my final 6 units completed by mid next year.

that seems hard. i met many people on the internet who are taking online classes. that would be hard to follow as well. i finished all my school...all at local schools...ba in social science from uc irvine, nighttime classes for mba program, and graphics diploma for specialization. i went to classes..i think it is more interesting because u get to interact with others. there r people there u like and some that u dont like, so i just hung out with the people i like and socialized.

I recently pre-registered for fall classes at the local junior college. My next step is to apply for financial aid to help pay for the classes. I have only one class left for my Associate in General Studies Degree and I'm going to take classes for web design. I will be a full time student on top of also being a full time employee. Half of my classes will be in the classroom and the other half will be online. I will have only one year of classes to take and I will be able to graduate next spring !!!!!
