Mum and my aunt they live together, mum help them do some things. I do hope i can buy a house and live together with my mother.we now in two different cities, i miss her so much.

I wouldn't even question it. They've put their life into me and my sister and raised us well. They will be my priority when the time comes.

Hi, Looking after your old parents is needed. They looked after you and did everything for you. Whenever you made a mess of their holidays by getting ill or having to go to some class or something, they never complained. You make them get up in the night when you are studying.. you never think for a minute that you are disturbing your mother after her hard day's work.. Have you ever?? When they are sick we are supposed to look after them. I did and was with them for their last days, cooking and looking after them. My parents were very happy with me.. I do hope my kids will learn from me and my husband.. but I also hope that I shouldn't need their services in the coming days

I like stay with my parents ,talking whih them .Beacuse i know some of my classmates dont like that , they cost a lot of time on his girlfriend, thats my hate. When i touch my mum hands i know she was old day after day . I feel sad that i cant give them more. Thanks.

I think i would definitely look after my mom if she is sick in bed. I know and realise the hardships she had to undergo when i was a kid. So i love her all the more and i would do anything for her.

Yes, i do take care of my parents. We, their children have the responsibility to take care of them. Its our turn to show to them that we loved them the same way they love us.And no matter how its hard, we have to do it, not as obligation...but as a respect for them.

We took care of my grandmother as long as we could at home prior to her going to a nursing home. I know how stressful it is , but i worked in nursing homes so much , i know how some of the employees can be. I would have to look long at hard at the place before i would let my mother live in one. I say keep them with you as long as possible. You may have your best laughs with them.you just never know.

Yes ofcourse I would take care of them How can I leave them alone after they have done so much for me. I would give them my best. Maybe I won't give up my job because after not doing a job how can support them financially. Maybe I would hire a maid who would take care of them, if I am busy doing a job. I cannot think of leaving them alone. This is the time that they need us when they get old.

I'll take care of my parents myself. About the issue of work, I guess there no need to give it up because I can ask for holidays to take care of them. Parents are our responsibilities, there is no need for nanny

I do not look at as giving up even though to me it was merely putting somehting off....my mother had a heart attack about six years ago....and her health was already complicated by diabetes....and after I graduated I moved back home and that was when she had her heart attack. I coul dnot leave her...she needed my help. So my parents and I bought some land (good size) and I moved with them...well now my father's health is becoming complicated so it is a good thing I stayed around. It has been hard but I would not have been happy being anywhere other than here because they are awesome people who have gone through hell and back for my brothers and I. And considering the field I work in I know the options quite well and nursing homes are in my opinion the last option....but I have thought about in the future if it gets to the point of having a sitter or taking my mother to a senior center (or adult daycare) to make sure she is okay. But we are nowhere near that point. So yes, I would and am helping out my parents.

I always respect my parents.I am ready for them all time . My parents stay in village whereas i am staying in metro city but still i use to talk to them every day to take care of them. When them will be more older then i will suggest them to stay with me only so that i can give proper care to my parents. I know its not so easy because i am also having lots of work pressure and myself problems but we always should take care of our parents who has grown you up.

Well, I could not finally say that I would give up my job to take care of my parents but I should do something that they are well taken care of. I will not let them live alone in their home. I will let them live with me and hire somebody to take care of them while they are in my home. I should still work. I would be confident that they are doing fine because they are in my home. I want to have close monitoring with them and make sure they are fine.

I can understand that. We must work and earn so we can live. Hiring somenody is a good way ,but find a good nanny is very important i think.

A few years ago I quit my job and moved out of state to care for my mother. She was still ambulatory so I found a job and was able to work and still look after her. Her health deteriorated and my sister and I planned to take family leaves to look after her full-time. My mother passed on. I don't regret looking after her.

I've two aging parents and I am on SSD myself so it isn't easy nor can I do as much as I like. I help my parents as much as I can. Thankfully, they are still relatively active. * Mostly, the three of us offer each other emotional support. That is something I have in abundance. Emotional and social contact is vital for all humans. I also cook them home made soups.

Yes I would, that's why I'm working really hard to earn money so that I can give them a good life.. :) Sometime if needed I also need to sacrifice my time to take care of them too, it's ok since they have been there for me for a very long time too.. It's time I should return the favor of taking care of them, I wanted them to feel that they are being loved by me.. :) A little help from a nanny would be ok, at least there would be many of us taking care of them..

I love my parents. Yeah, I love them very much. Since I am practically the only child (I have an adopted sister), I would definitely take good care of my parents. I do not think I would be able to entrust them to a nanny or a nurse or something. As long as I can do it, I will.

I would choose taking care of them instead of hiring someone.Besides I won't be sure if they will be that caring or what.Of course we need to do this to them,we have our gratitude to them.Without them we could not see the world. We've been cared since we are on our mothers womb until we came out into this world. It's not hard to become a parent.I now had a daughter, and now i know how hard it is to raise a child. We are the inspiration of our parents that is why they work hard for us,now let them be our inspiration.Manage your time so that you could take care of them...Goodluck on us!!
