HELP! Double Post.

I'm so sorry I've double posted my recent discussion. I really wish mylot would have this edit and delete button for the topics that we start. It happened like this, I already clicked the "start discussion" and was about to write tags for it but then I remember to add more lines to the discussion so I pressed back, I thought it was okay until I saw the previous one posted already.
I sent a message to mylot already regarding my double post. Would this affect my reputation or earnings? I think I read the guidelines and there's something about SPAMMING. Oh I'm scared. I'm sorry I double posted.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure it happens to everyone at one time or another. Mylot will just delete one of them and I don't think they'll penalize you.

You should be fine. I know that MyLot admin frowns upon posting a subject multiple times, but they can tell the difference from someone who is doing it deliberately to get attention and earnings, and someone who made a mistake and tried to correct it. I have double posted a couple of times during my time here, and it neither affected my earnings nor my rating.
There are many times that I wished that MyLot had an edit button to correct mistakes that we see after the fact, but unfortunately they haven't seen fit to do so as of yet. Hopefully that will be one of the upgrades in the near future.
