I went through lots of different cats as I was growing up. All I remember the first cat we had and his name was "Snowball". This cat was very unqiue becasue he was all white, was deaf caouldn't hear and had one blue eye and one green eye. He was the most friendly cat. We came home and found him laying in the hall sleeping not realizing he was dead later. Next cat was Joe, he didn't last long -- ran away. Next cat was Tiger - can't rember much about him. Then we didn't have a ca for few years. Later we had a cat name Scruffy, we loved that cat. Me and my 2 sisters were away while my parents were at home with the cat. They came with the cat to get us to go to the cottage for 2 weeks. Arrived to the cottage Scruffy just stormed out the car. That was the last we heard and seen him. You won't beleived this about 20 years later and I am not making this up. My parents happened to talk about cats we had and they mentioned about Scruffy that he already ran away while we were not home. They panicked and went to humaine society and managed to the a cat looks exactlly like Scruffy and I found out 20 years later shocked. Now I knew why that cat stormed out of the car. He wasn't Scruffy to begin with. I was so upset Scruffy we thought its him stormed out of the car. Then few days later we got another cat, my dad named him 50 after the beer. Then we add another cat and dad named him blue so he can have a party pack. Blue was adbanded so we kept him. %0 got hit by a car twice the 2nd time, 50 had his urine located aels where due to the accident and he got sick and had to put him to sleep. Then we had another cat and my dad named him Hoser. Blue died later and he was a very fat cat in our back yard. Then we had a grey cat name dude. Hoser went away. Then we had another cat Igor. Igor didn't last long becasue he would poo in the corner all the time. My dad dropped him off at a farm. The we had another cat Fergie. Fergie was the last cat before I got married. I know this is a long dicussion. Hope you found it interesting. Now I am married for alomst 20 yes (Oct 2008) have 2 cats named Peppy and Smokey

Evil for a name of a cat, I don't know. You might get negative response from other people. My opinion I wouldn't want to name him. But it will be different if that little kitty of yours get into mischief then he would be a little evil thing. I would never thought of that name. But I am not the one to say you shouldn't name your cat. Some people named their cat worst than "Evil". Good luck to find good name for your little kitty.

Many years ago my grandmother had raised a white cat with the name of MaoZi.It was a purebred Siamese with two blue eyes. The whole family liked it but it is so pavid that it feared anybody around except grandmother.Grandmother had raised it for nearly twelve years but it disappeared at last.My grandmother was so sad she decided not to support any animal until today.

Hi 48Jesussaves, It's funny to see that just about everyone had a cat named Smokey. My family used to live on a farm, and we had a cat named Smokey who was born there and lived to be 26 years old before finally dying from a cancerous tumor on her face. In her heyday she used to go out and kill walruses and elephants and that sort of thing and drag them back to the farmhouse to show off to the family. Funny how cats like to show off what they've caught. And there's been a series of other cats too, but there's a couple that really stood out in my mind because they were so gentle and placid - Sooty (a black cat, just in case you were wondering) and later, Tuffy (a ginger Persian cross). Both were Smokey's kittens (out of about 50 million kittens she had in her lifetime). And both Sooty and Tuffy were the most kind and gentle cats I've ever seen. They literally wouldn't harm a fly - in fact, they seemed to delight in having any other little animal around as a friend, rather than as something to stalk and kill like most other cats. They never chased another creature at all that I ever saw - even little sparrows and the like were perfectly safe to come right up to them and flap about. If only all cats were like that, the world would be a better place for the cute furry little things that scamper around the gardens, not to mention all the poor little birds, elephants and walruses out on the farms.

My first cat was Missy, a stray that came to us with a litter of 4 kittens. She was also accompanied by another mommy cat with 5 kittens, but she ran off and we couldn't catch her, only her kittens. We took Missy to the shelter, along with all 9 kittens, and she nursed them ALL! The shelter placed the kittens, and we took Missy home after she was spayed. Next is Paco. What can I say? He is the inspiration for Garfield! Then came Angel.... and OH, what an Angel he was. Sadly, he was killed 2 years ago by a car at the tender age of 4. I miss him terribly! The void was filled by Bucky, a 10-yr old (now 12) tiger-tabby we adopted from the shelter because the previous owner had to give him up because she was moving out of state and couldn't find a place that allows cats. The newest is Sherbert, and snot-nosed little stray girl who has adopted us. I believe that the animal will name itself, and usually that name is just perfect. Paco and Bucky came to us with their names. Missy, Angel, and Sherbert "gave" their names to me.

I've only had two cats (twins, by the way), they were strays that came to my parents on a walk. My five-year-old(at the time) sister named them Whiskers and Long-Ears. The name Whiskers stuck, as did the cat. The other cat we decided we couldn't keep, and gave him away to a caring family, who promptly renamed him. (I don't blame them...)

Yes agree with you there. I even had friends or their friends have a cat name Smokey. My cat Smokey is mostly grey with odd white in it. I usually noticed if the cat is grey people would name it Smokey.
