I have a couple of recurring dreams that I have had at different times over a period of years. Have you ever had dreams that came up again at different times?

I have this one recurring dream where I am driving and my brakes won't work. It is terrifying. I don't know what brings the dream on and I can go a long time without having it but then it will happen again. I just keep on driving because I can't stop...

One of my recurring dreams has to do with driving. In mine I am sitting in the back seat and there is no one at the steering wheel guiding the car. I think mine may show I am feeling helpless and not in control of circumstances around me. Your dream seems to have a similar theme.
