248 discussions and still counting...

Wow thats some discussions! Mine are very few maybe 10 or a few more! I answer discussions from my emails first they take up most of my time! I like to hear from my friends and find out how they are! I do posts sometimes.

As you can see from my number I am a big poster but I have only started 28 discussions since I joined in February. All my discussions have had responses, some of them have over 90 responses but most of them have fewer than that. I would just rather spend my time responding and I will start maybe one or two discussions a week, if I think of a good topic. I would rather do that than start hundreds of discussions and have many with no responses.

really? you actually know how many discussion you started? i am impress. lol. i dont know how many discussion i started already but it sounds like you have a lot. good for you. you give chance to other mylot members to response and have points. yes i think you really will have a lot of pages if you want to really know how many discussion you started so far. congrats hope you can make another 248 discussion. wink wink

Hello aseretdd, It is weird...your previous discussion that I responded just now showed me another member's avatar as yours and for this one, I didn't see any avatar. But when I pressed to respond, your avatar is still the same.... Okay, back to your discussion here! I never check how many discussions I had started here. I don't really into it as I find it hard to find a topic to start with. I bet mine is lesser than average members who have been here for over a year *smiles* Like you, I prefer to respond instead of starting my own discussion. I am more interested to read other people's discussions...

i really have not taken the time to take a look how many discussions i have started.probably around a 100 i would think.when i get time i will have a look.congrats to you on your postings.i am a bit like you and usually respond to other peoples disscussions.cheers sue

i have only been here for one day and i've only started one discussion. i really like responding to different posts.since i started last night i have responded to almost twenty discussions.

Well, most people I am sure only have like 10% at most of New discussions compared to the amount they have replied too, with some more than this in average, and then the ones with less than this as well. I know mine would be at the most 10% as well as it is hard sometimes to come up with a new discussion or topic I want to talk about. I do know I go thru spurts with this as well. Personally, I have never counted, and not sure I want too, but I know I have started quite a few.

oh hehehe i think i have many aseret...but it is okay. whatever suits you. i love the freedom that we have here at mylot. and i hate to think of people abusing it. this is a lovely place to be because we can be ourselves. take care dear and God bless you! keep posting! :)

its nice. i have seen yesterday that there are more than 1000 that i have started till date. i feel amazed. i juyt could not realized this taht it can be so much.

As of today I have started 85 discussions, but I believe there are some missing. I vaguely remember having more pages listed at one time in discussions I've started than I do now. The way I came up with this number without having to count each discussion individually was to count how many were on the first page, which was ten, then count how many full pages I had, eight. Then once I got to the last page I just counted how many were on there, which brought my total to 85

That is a lot! No, I have never counted mine, but there are not that many. Maybe I need to start a few more.

sorry aser i am late to reply this discussion but i am trying to response all discussions from my email notification. i am out for more than 2 weeks that is why i am late to read this post. i response from the oldest to the newest. anyway, my total discussions as of this moment are more than 1500 for six months posting. this means that i posted more on my friends discussions than posting my own.

I have probably started 15 discussions. Responding is easier that starting a new one... chances are, it has been started by someone else.

I've started 28 discussions since I've started here. I've only been here about eleven days though. I prefer to respond to discussions more than starting them. I don't know how to get people to talk.
