How many of you have tasted your tears?

I ahve a couple of times.Not deliberately,but because of excessive crying and flow of tears it happened to enter my mouth.It's taste is salty.I don't know the reason. Have you ever tasted your tears? Do you know why it is salty in taste?

I think that every one of might have tasted the tears as we used to weep uncontrollably without wiping them and letting them drip into our mouth when we were kids.I remember the salty taste very much.

you are so right.I too tasted it for the first time when I was a child and was weeping uncontrollably.Only when I sometimes cry now,I am remimded of it's taste.:)

hmmm yeah its tasty why its tasty, no idea but i think all body secretion are saltish, like blood, sweat and tear u might knew few more too

Ha ha ha u did not mention about sweat as its saltish too well blood is saltish u, when i had cit at my finger, i put in my mouth so it can stop so i know the taste. Sure its not blood sucking discussion, but saltish discussion

Yes,I understood that you must have sucked it while trying to stop the bleeding of either your own finger or your partner's. I don't have one. But certainly I am not waiting for a companion for this reason. :)

Yes I have tasted my tears but it's been many years since I don't cry very easily. Tears are salty because people are salty. All cells in the body have a certain amount of salt in them.

Yes, I know what you mean. I have cried many times and as a result tasted my tears. I guess they taste like salt because our bodies are made up of water sure, but also salt.

sounds crazy but yes , while crying by mistake teears go into mouth also....well they taste salty,but i think at the same time there is all dirt in it because tears are good for cleaning eyes of the dirt ,...

i have also tasted it. off course not deliberately. it came to my mouth. i was crying at that time.its salty.actually tears contains salt to keep the eyes clean.
