In Jamaica we have primary and prep. The primary schools are the public ones that build by the government for the children of the country. The prep schools are for the rich folks but you know you have some middle class and poor ones who will belt there belly for their children to attend. There is also junior high and high along with colleges and universities. Our programs are from the colonial days. We used to rule under the Queen just as Australia so the school system will be similar.

Oh, everytime someone mentions Australia I get all sentimental. I made it all the way to 11th grade before my parents uprooted us and migrated to the US. Anyhow over here we have pre-shool which is separate, then Elementary which is Kindergarden through 6th grade. Junior High is 7th and 8th grade (some if not most have from K-8th grade). Then High School here doesn't start until 9th grade. Anyhow, have a wonderful weekend.
