gtargirl started a new discussion called What Do You Do/Make With Your Turkey Left-Overs? in eating.

We had visitors from Holland for a month or so but they left before Thanksgiving. I made them a whole Thanksgiving meal, all the trimmings etc, and even thrrew in a free US History lesson. We've just been snacking on cold turkey and slices of pumpkin pie. Can you give me some suggestions, other than sandwiches (unless you've got something unique), on how to get creative with turkey left-overs?

I love snow. When I lived in Holland, as a little girl, snow was magical. I know now, as an adult, it can be very dangerous on the road, of course and very slippery I suppose. We live in the desert and but receive wet snow every winter as we're right at the foot of a very snowy mountain. Pretty!!![em]thumbup[/em]

It would be very hard for me to eat even one bite of anything without having a drink of water. And my tall glass of water has to be stone cold. Nothing else quenches my thirst. If I don't have water with my meal, I have a hard time getting the food down. That's just me . . . I really love my glass of water.[em]happy[/em][em]rolleyes[/em]

Yeah, it's fun to stuff that omelet. Mushrooms, cheese, onions and ham. Yummm!

Ah, I wouldn't call me the best cook of sorts but, apparently, I have a lot of friends who seem to be awesome chefs.

Those Swedish pancakes are hard to make. You make them from scratch?

Really?? Noodles for breakfast? What kind are you talking about?

Yeah, I've heard it might not be good to drink while eating but I just couldn't do it. Plus we're supposed to have a certain amount of water a day anyhow. I figure it's a good way to get your daily allowance. I think most Americans drink with their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh well, that's just me.

    Have You Tried Licorice Tea?

This tea is just awesome. I know it can't do what I'm about to claim, but I lose weight whenever I include a cup of licorice tea at breakfast. It seems to satisfy my hunger. Go figure. Of course,...

So we are in the formatting stage of publishing our cook book. I just love Adobe Acrobat Pro, btw. Anyhow, I'm realizing that I have no imagination when it comes to breakfast . . . a bowl of cereal,...

    Instant Replay For Baseball PlayOffs?

Well probably not, but I would vote yes to instant replay just for the playoffs in baseball. This, of course, coming from a disgruntled Angel fan who can't believe some of the bizarre calls called...
