Yes, it does bother me. I try to change my ways so that it gives me a rest.

A person who has the conscience will guide to be good. In every actuation or decision to be made, the conscience will need to work in our senses. A bad decision can bring bad consequences or circumstances.

Yes, it does, when something is wrong, very wrong.. It usually is telling me the truth.. Sometimes, it can come as a sign or warning.. I usually listens to it.. There are times, where I didn't.. And from that, I regretted it.. So from now on, I made a strict vow to listen to it, when it is telling me things..

If I do something bad and I don't do anything to redeem myself then my conscience would probably kill me slowly. I don't like the feeling of being tormented with my conscience so I avoid being in that situation. I want to do good things and help people. I believe that if I care about how other people would feel and if I put my heart into everything I do then my conscience would never bother me. Guilt is what allows our conscience to bother us.

Each man has a conscience, a goodness that drives him to do well. However, when a man is pressed and overwhelmed by external situations and internal conflicts, most resolve to negative behavior and immoralities. This is man's nature. And this is what Ralph Waldo Emerson meant when he said that our "within" is great. He is not only referring to our potentials but also our weakness and flawed nature.
