1hopefulman responded to a discussion called How do you deal with life's challenges? in life.
Philippians 4:6-7 (Contemporary English Version) 6Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. 7Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel. This is how I deal with challenges:1) For me prayer i...

1hopefulman responded to a discussion called Do you think "We All Have A Purpose In Life?" in life.

Life is a gift from God, so we want to use our life to praise Him. God does not force us as to how we will live. We have a choice as to how we live. However there are consequences both good and bad for our choices. The ultimate consequence is everlasting life or everlasting death. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (New International Version) 19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against yo...

1hopefulman responded to a discussion called Why are we living? in life.
We are living because God has given us life. So we want to take care of this life and see how best to use it to praise Him. We do not live life selfishly but use it to make others happy, including our parents. Life is worth living, life is worth giving! I wish you well![em]happy[/em]

1hopefulman responded to a discussion called Does Halloween Make You Uncomfortable? in religion.

If you are disturbed by the Halloween celebration and do not wish to have any part of it:You could respond by smiling and saying: "I'm sorry but I don't celebrate Halloween." Or You could ignore the door knocking on halloween night and they will go away. I want to research Halloween a bit and just see what are its origins. I will post what I find later.

1hopefulman responded to a discussion called Who created evil? And in your own opinion, What is evil? in life.

Evil is doing anything that displeases God. Evil came into being when Satan the Devil rebelled against God. God= good Devil= evil

1hopefulman responded to a discussion called What is the things or possession that you treasure or value the most? in life.

If I were to be sent to another planet and could only take one single earthly item then I would take my Bible. It is my most valuable treasure. Nothing else that I own comes even close.

My upline is still earning well. My brother has only earned about $2.23 as a free member without any recruits since joining. I have about 25 recruits and have earned $23.00. But they say that things are just starting to happen. Let's see how it goes.

Thank you for responding! It's interesting to note that great intelligence is not necessary to discen the existence of God. But we appreciate too that some of the best minds that have ever walked the earth also were humbled by the intelligence manifest in the universe and recognized the existence of a Creator.

shobhan51, I'm glad you have found this topic useful. As we can see many great men of Science have come to appreciate that there is a God. They have studied the intelligence manifest in the universe. I once read that Sir Isaac Newton actually wrote more about God than he did about science. He had some keen knowledge about God and the Bible as the word of God. "Sir Isaac Newton, the Englis...

tandmunlimited, thanks for your response![em]happy[/em]. I want to assure you that no one that is a good person will ever be punished with everlasting death. A good person can be worked with. A good person, once they are convinced that God exists, that God loves then, that God has their best interest at heart, they will respond to God's goodness with gratitute and appreciation. They will a...

What some scientists have said about the existence of God!

When asked his view about whether there is a God, Thomas Edison replied: “After years of watching the processes of nature, I cannot doubt the existence of a Supreme Intelligence. The existence of...

How do you define success?

I came across this quotation and it really made me think:Success is not about how far up the mountain we get, but how many we take with us. (Ernie Larsen) What do you think? Has he got it...

What is your ultimate aim in life?

I'm aiming high! I want to continue to seek the truth, especially when it comes to God and the purpose of life. I want to continue to research, anilyze, and scrutinize, what I find. What are you...
