What about Yahoo Answers vs. MyLot

Well,I have not been on yahoo answers.But,some times, I had landed there when I search for something.Its very good.It also has its own advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that it has a lot of members who are active there when compared to the active members of mylot.Mylot also has an advantage over yahoo as it has the possibility of earnings. Mylot is better than yahoo answers as you also earn here.Also,you can get a lot of friends here.I am not sure whether that facility is there on yahoo.And ratings are there in both yahoo answers and also here in mylot. So,I think if mylot also has a lot of active members like that of yahoo,it would be amazing and splendid! Cheers! Have a splendid day Happy mylotting and happy browsing.

Yes exactly same thing happend to me. I used to participate in Yahoo Answers and was happy to see my answer was choosen the best. Though not from yahoo answers or any search engine, i dont remember but some how i came across Mylot and felt really good as I was paid for my replies. I felt my posts are being rewarded and thats how its all started for me in Mylot.

No I was invited by a friend but I love it and have been here way over a year now!

its a bit 50-50 both the forums get good amount of response the only drawback in yahoo answers is that the questions get deleted after a while.

mylot rocks....i`ve tried yahoo answers couple of times...but answers are instant in here ..

I say answers is more organized than myLot. What I like about myLot is that you get to earn.

I came over from yahoo answers, and I still like both of them! To me they have a different purpose! Answers you can ask a certain question, and you get a lot of answers! Here on myLot, you can discuss things, back and forth, and plus you can ask questions also! I have friends on Answers, and i communicate with them often, I have friends on myLot, and I stay in touch with them also! Money is no object to me!

I found myLot by another way, but I'm still using both. It's easier to search Yahoo Answers, but there's more incentive using myLot.

I have seen myLot discussions appear in search results, so I guess a few people have found myLot that way. I have never used Yahoo Answers. I did read that you can include a link in your replies there, otherwise I don't see any point in using it when you can ask questions and get answers at myLot, which pays you to do it. I have also heard that schoolkids ask at Yahoo instead of looking something up or thinking for themselves when they have to answer homework questions.
