Would you go under the knife?

If you had the resources, would you go under the knife to enhance your physical beauty? I wouldn't. No reason, I just don't want surgery in general. If there are pills or creams, I would try them. But never surgeries.

I would. I have had a son so things don't look the same on my body. No ammount of exercise or dieting will take care of the "mommy pouch" that happens on some women. I wished I was one of those blessed ladies that have 4 kids and look like a model naturally but thats just not in my genetic code so if I did have the money YES I would have some work done.

I don't know. Ask me again in twenty years. My answer right now would be 'no' or 'that depends'. I can honestly say I'm not too happy when I look in the mirror. If the surgery was given to me for free, I think I would do it. And I'd probably only do it once. I've noticed that after two times people have a tendency to become hooked. And I don't want that.

I would never consider plastic surgery just to enhance the way I look. I would consider it if I was in an accident where I needed something rebuilt though. I look at it this way: God gave me this face and body, and I'll be happy with it. It's one thing using make-up, creams, etc, but to go the route of plastic surgery just isn't something I feel is a necessity. Even if I had lots of money, I still wouldn't consider it. I'm not vain, but if others feel it's necessary to get a better opinion of themselves and give them self-confidence, then they should go for it and be happy.

I don't think that I could do that. Getting under the knife just for beauty sake. That is scary to me, I have watched some of the show that they have on tv and the after surgery shots don't look nice. They may look great once they have healed but to go through that I pass.

Only if surgery were the ONLY way of fixing a problem which impedes "acceptance" of my physical "self" to the public. What I am getting at is RECONSTRUCTIVE surgery rather than "plastic surgery" for the sake of "physical beauty." People who have birth defects, accidents, burns, illnesses, etc., which create "trauma" to one's physical being, well... surgery can perform miracles! And by ALL means, one should avail themselves of these opportunities. But for the sake of mere "vanity," sorry... no, I would not do it.
