I am a great foodie. I love cooking as well as eating delicious food and so it is a search online for me. I love surfing looking for new recipes to try. I also enjoy trying out some mouthwatering dishes posted on the foodie blogs.
Is there any particular food site that has been of help to you in improving your culinary skills and also bringing some delicious dishes to your table?

My staple is my Betty Crocker cookbook. If I can't find a recipe in there, or think I can find an easier one, I do a search on the net. Thus far my favorite website is www.allrecipes.com. But I also like cooks.com and recipezaar.
A website my husband found that has a lot of great recipes is www.recipegoldmine.com. They have some really great looking desserts!

I personally find the recipes and videos at http://www.ifood.tv very interesting and there's such tremendous variety to try out.

I use cooks.com it's very user friendly. I live in Mexico my wife usually does the cooking. The family likes the gringo meals I cook. So I use it for ideas and also for converting temps. as our over is metric. Good Luck Here!!! I see your new and wish you the best, your in for a wild ride,hang in there!!!
