From what I have heard, the US has finally gotten clearance to drill for oil on our own land. Now the oil companies over seas are scared because they know that means they are not going to get our money anymore, so they are lowering their prices. From what I've heard, it will take about 18 months to get our own oil, at which point it should be much cheaper. Let's hope that's true.

Your husband is really lucky. Mine only gets 2 weeks a year, and he gets 1 day off on major holidays. Like at Christmas he gets that day off, and that's it. He has to work the day before and the day after. It just bites!!
