Intially i was checking my bank balance every day, fearing that some wrong entry might have crept in and need immediate action to rectify it, since once it had happened with my account. But nowadays, it is once or twice a week only. So, my dear friends and users, how often you check your bank balance?

I have a friend who checks her bank transactions daily because her husband will write checks without recording the amount or to whom it was written. He also uses the ATM to withdraw money but does not remember the exact amount. I don't have that problem. My husband and I decided long ago that only one of us would carry a checkbook. Since I have to do most of the shopping, I got the job of keeping the checkbook. If he needs to write a check for something, he will ask me for a blank one. He is diligent to tell me to whom it was written and for how much. It is my job to keep the check register current and to reconcile it with the bank's records when we receive their monthly statement.

I was checking my bank balance only when I have something to come in so that I can check the correctness of newly arrive amount than previous.Having un expected amount in my account will not give much luck but a prone to big problem if I can saw that amount, because if I was tempted to withdraw it, then I would definitely have big problems in the future since I don't have much money to pay for the money that it is not intended for me.

Only when I need some funds from it. Or, I will check it when I feel that I may not have enough funds before going to shop.

I check my bank balance according to how much I use it. Banks do make errors, so when I know I have a lot of activity in my account, I check it more often. I have formed a habit, though, that causes me to check it every morning and right before I leave to go home from work.

I usually check it as I write checks or when I receive my statement. If I'm off I get upset and go over it until I find my mistake.
