Best friend is the Worst enemy!

I believe that when your best friend turns on you he or she CAN be your worst enemy because he or she knows so much about you. He/she knows all your weak spots, whatever would hurt you the most.

yes i belive because only a bestfriend can know your all weakness

it is true sometimes. in my case it happened. my so called best friend cheated me big times,. he was actually taking my advantages.i realised it later point. he was such a bluff.

Hi snakequeen! I have also heard this saying, and believe it to be true in certain ways. We all share things with our close friends that we may not share with others, therefore opening the door to betrayal. I can say from experience that this has happened to me,and from someone i considered one of my best friends. The great Bob Marley said in one of his songs, "Only he who knows your secrets can reveal it" he was talking about people we consider to be friends but really are not. So it is my opinion that those are the friends the saying is refering too.

I believe it, you're best friend is the worst enemy. Specially, when you are open to each other. And I think, your best friend is the one who hurts you most. Specially, when you are used that his/her attention is only on you. I have had problems like this with a "best friend" and it really hurts when you were betrayed.

To my knowledge it is,because your best friends knows everything about you if you are opened to each other.Your weakness and strength was known to each other,so if he turns foe to you,he will use this to attack you.

well,the line between love and hate is very thin and when someone has intense positive feelings for a person, when the opposite happens,it still keeps its intensity so from intense positive feelings you might get to intense negative ones. and there is also the thing that they know everything about you, and all your weak points and that might affect you in the future.. i don't have real close friends anymore..in the end,the only person who really cared about you is yourself;)
