Hi All, I was thinking this because my sister came late lastnight. She has a cell phone thats why its easy to contact her. Both( mom and i ) of us worry but our city is safe for womans. we have lots of callcenter. Many womans are working in night shift and that is the reason police are more alert in night. we had few incident of r*p* and robbing, one or two. But still ladies should be carefull, cant say when time changes. So tell me, is your city safe for womans? Are you free to go out in night?

I don't think any city is really safe for women. It's a matter of the men and their moral codes. Today's society has unfortunatly become degraded to such a point that no one is really safe. Man woman or child. The best we can do is to provide all the people we love with ways of protecting themselves such as cell phones, self defense classes and time scheduals of where and when they are going to be somewhere.

Hi there yogeshdhusa, Our City has same incidents but I should say, it depends on the place people will hang out..We have several places where I can assure that is safe no matter how long you wanna stay but if also people will go to a places which are prone to accidents, robbing and rape, for sure, it is not safe! if going home from work, nothing to worry. But, if taking the public transportation last at night, I guess it's not so safe so better to ask someone to pick you up!

No city is safe for women. We have to create our own safety by wising up. Sometimes we are ahead of our times though and therefore even with the utmost precautions there is danger. It cannot stop us from achieving however. Police may not be the answer. In fact, it might be quite the opposite. We may need societies to stop protecting the offenders and start allowing us to protect ourselves. Women are not weak and helpless or stupid. We are simply taught from birth to act that way and intimidated by history into staying behind the mask.
