"spiritually dead"

As I was wondering through the Lot this morning I was posting in a friends thread and one of the tags someone put on it was "spiritually dead"....Just out of curiousity, what exactly is spiritually dead? I mean I just dont see how that is possible....How can one be "spiritually dead" and if you agree with the term what does it mean to you?

I am probably wrong but it would mean to me that someone had no faith in anything and could only believe in something if he could see it with his own eyes.

It only means they have lost faith in anything spiritual, because of how horrible things are in the community around or int he world right now? The economy is horrible. We are in a war over dumb, non-necessary things and..this person is having a reaction ot it.
..Just my take on it?

ravenladyj to me that tag meant that someone was trying
to rattle your cage, and that is all. That is a slur
coming probably from a fundamentalist christain full of
'fire and brimstone. I would just disregard it if it
were me. You know what your own thoughts and beliefs are'
so do not let anyone else try to change them.
