A Star and A Number

Hi everyone, I know this has probably been discussed but I lost that discussion link somewhere. I was just wondering what the number on the star beside our username signify. I saw once it meant myLot reputation but what does it mean? Is 1 a higher rating compared to 8 or 9?

I read it in the FAQ and 10 is the highest you can get and it is based on other people's ratings about you. Thus, to increase it you must provide good comments and hope people will rate you high and do not post useless comment because people will rate you negative.
The numbers meant rankings in the interest and the lower it is the better. :D

its 1 to 10 and the highest is 10, its discussion and responses rate ( it think).

hi joliefille it goes the other way ten is the highest then
eight and so on down to one. the rating is the reputation that
mylot users give you by plusing or minusing your discussions and responses. it is listed in a percentage. hope this clears it
up for you.
