there are a lot of foods that we can say hey this is one of my favorite. but still there is a food that when we taste it doenst matter if it is our favorite or not but when we taste it and it taste so good we can say this is a taste of heaven. my wife loves pasta and for me her carbonara is a taste of heaven, plus toasted garlic bread and cold lemon ice tea. wow. my wifes carbonara is a taste of heaven for me. for you what kind of food can you say that it is a taste of heaven?

dilis? is dilis the fish you like for kinilaw. i dont eat kinilaw but i know the feeling when you miss a food from the philippines and you are abroad. i have a brother who lives in London and i always send him bopis, dinuguan, letchon paksiw and bagoong. how? i buy it at goldilocks and it is wrapped like zesto juices. ayun, he always have a little taste of heaven everytime i do that. so i know what you mean.

Oh yes, I can identify with a food being a taste of heaven. Sadly, for me, there are many, many such foods! (might be why I have battled a weight problem for most of my adult life!) I suppose if left to chose just one, I would say that when I taste cheesecake I ususally have a statement such as you mention..."this is a little piece of heaven!" I love cheesecake. Any flavor of cheesecake is fine with me, it is all good.

i am a 37 years old single mom, and i do mostly the cooking in our house. my children knows how to cook too and they are a big help when it comes to preparing and cooking meals. but for me whenever we come to visit my mom in the province and taste her cooking again that for me is a taste of heaven. its like going back when i was still a kid. my mom is a good cook too, though she only cooks simple recipes but it is really a taste of heaven.
