Is It Easy To Make New Friends In A New City..?

My boyfriend and I move to Germany middle of July. I am German, but I found the man of my dreams in Canada. Yes.. it is possible even if you are old.. I am 51 this year!
Brian is Canadian and he was in Germany for the first time on Christmas, he loves Bavaria. Now we move to München where I was born. I am afraid it might be difficult fo find friends there, Brian doesn´t speak German yet..
What do you think.. how can we make friends..?

Hi celinaxx, welcome to mylot and have a happy stay here. Don't worry girl! Things happen anyhow. Your boyfriend don't speak German but you do and it is the half way walked. The most important is that you and your BF are together and happies. Make friends is more easy than you think.

Do yall have any places that you can go to learn the language. Maybe you could meet other new people there and bond with them. I would think it is going to be a little difficult because of the language barrier.
