Well i was born and raised in maryland and i have to say i love the snow! i hate driving it in but i love playing in it and looking at it! After i moved down here to florida there are some people who have never seen snow in real life only on tv. i found that weird coming from a place where i seen snow atleast once or twice a winter. so now how do you feel about snow? love it or hate it and why?

I can't say rather I love it or hate. The only snow I had ever seen melted as soon as it hit the ground. I would love to see snow though. It would be fun to play in!

I love snow. We dont get very much here in Central Virginia, but I was raised in northern pennsylvania and we had snow all the time in the winter. I am moving whenever I can sell my house here to an area that gets more snow and cold weather. It's generally more pleasant here in the winter, but I miss snow.

Christmas 2006 - This is a pic I took off my balcony during Christmas 2006. We just got a little bit of snow that dusted the ground and rooftops.
LOL, I have lived in both Maryland and Florida and saw snow in both of them. I was in elementary school when we lived in Maryland so the snow was fun and enjoyable. I was in high school when it snowed in Florida in 1982. It came at Christmas time but it was only enough to coat the ground with a light dusting. Not even enough to build a snowman. Now that I'm an adult and have experienced it differently, I don't like it nearly as much. Of course, Ice and Snow are completely different, but when the snow turns to ice, it can make things difficult at best. When we lived near Dallas years ago, my car froze to the parking lot at work for 3 days. Between the snow melting, refreezing, more snow and several repeating cycles, I had to leave my car at work til it thawed out. We get occasional snow in Texas, but more often it's ice storms. The year we left Dallas and moved to Houston, wouldn't you know there'd be an ice storm that shut the roads down for a few days. So overall, if it's light snow like in the attached pic, I still like it. If it's more than this, not so much. I much prefer the warmth of the southern states.

I love the snow. I hate the freezing cold. I use to say, "If I could find a way to have snow for Christmas, I'd move to California."

I like it when it's snowing but I don't like snow on the ground....make any sense? lol The reason why is that people around here don't know how to drive in it. But I can't wait until the next time it does snow so my son can see it for the first time! I think since I'm not working anymore I will like the snow alot better.
