When chatting with real life friends, lol, what do you enjoy chatting about?

I know we all love to chat here on mylot and the good thing is we can chat about numerous topics and people will listen and reply to you. However how about with your real life friends what topics do you commonly chat about and enjoy talking about?
With my closest friends I can chat to them for hours about anything. We talk about our kids, day to day issues, teaching, goals, weightloss (lol), money problems, the world, tv shows, gossip, our partners/spouse, spirituality,singing, games, parties and so on. There are many more topics we chat about. However it depends on the friend and their interests too.
So please share your chatting topics with your closest friends..........

hmmmm.... most of the time we talked about our personal life... whats the good and bad news whats the latest and the old... then jump into our other friends news... then jump into our future plans then into our kids... then the neighborhood to the government and far far away topic.... topics about anything and everything just to make up those times that were not together and just communicate through chat... lol

I liked the way you answered your response. I am the same, I usually start of discussing my personal life then move onto many other topics. I love talking about future plans, keeps me motivated and focussed. Great to hear that you have good friends to chat about topics you enjoy.

Hi Kiran,
I chat to my freinds about anything, a good moan about husbands and chat kids and ther problems my best friend and talk to each a lot about spirtuality and my friend will talk about soaps opera we are mad about coronation street and eastenders and lot of other soaps.

Hey Tamara, you sound similar to me with topics that you like to chat about. I heard you like spirituality from littleowl. I have always been fascinated with that topic. I have had numerous readings done in the past, good and bad, lol. I love to watch soap operas too: Bold and the Beautiful, Home and Away and Neighbours. I have not seen the soap operas you are talking about, wonder if they are on Australian tv? Have a great day, keen to know more about subjects on spirituality.

Hi Tamara, Rick is one of my favourites too. I used to also like watching Sally, but she is gone. I am glad Kirsty is back now I remember watching her. Other favourites: Martha, Jack and Myles.

Hello dpk, great response my friend. It is great to have close friends who you can share good and bad moments with. You know you have a real genuine friend when you can do this. Sadly some friends only want to be there for happy times.

Hi Kiran-my own friends we caht about everything give advice,different topics that others like,about everything-but a lot of my friends are invoved in spirituality as I am and the Craft so that is often talked and discussed about-your friend hugs littleowl

This coming weekend I am going to a psychic workshop run by David Wells a world reknown medium but he does do workshops not far from me so am getting really excited about that-if you haven't heard of him he was in most haunted but left for his own reasons-but one of your friends may of heard of him-hugs littleowl

well, when it comes to chatting with real friends, it is different because in there we can share all our personal problems that we never exposed here in mylot. lol. yes, we share some of our personal problems here but not all are revealed. There are things that we only confide to our real close friends. Those who can understand us and bear our disappointments too. Love to chat to real friends.

Yes that is true, we aren't all going to spill our personal problems on here. I have disclosed minor personal problems on here but nothing major. It is hard sometimes not to as I am a pretty open person. It is great to chat to real friends. However it is also awesome to chat to friends here as you can discuss anything and you get to know peoples interests here really quickly. Whereas it might take alot longer to find out alot about real friends when you first meet them.

Hi there,
Well we talk about almost everything fromm food, politics, sports and anything which interest us.
Well i like sports and so we always have a conversation about the sporting tournaments going on. Actually this month a lot of tournaments r on like.. wimbledon, Asia Cup, Euro cup so really no shortage of topics.

most of the time it is about mutual interest.
like if iam discussing with one about the stock market i cannot discuss what my wife and his wife cooked for the yesterday nights dinner.
if with a lady friend i can not ask her bank balance. or how much his husband is spending on his friends.etc.
any way you suggest which topic will be the best when we are chatting ?

Hello, you do have a good point there, it does depend on who you are talking to and what mutual interests you have. It is great when you have a friend though that you have many mutual interests, then you can talk for hours. I guess the joys about mylot is we do get to pick the topic we want to discuss and get loads of responses. That is one of the reasons why I love this site.

our encounters and our love life.
but the major topic which continues the conversation is regarding guys, studies and gossips of other people whom we met across the street.. :)

i dont discuss my life or things with any of my friend......i share all my feelings and prsonal problems with my love...friends do not help.....mostly they are selfish....so share all your problems with the person whom u love.....that is what we call trust in a relationship...dont hide things from your love....:)

we talk about anything that we have in mind.... depending on what's going on with our daily lives. Lately, we've been talking about earning online as our extra income. Sometimes we talk about work, our frustrations, our plans. Anything.
