In what month do you start your holiday/xmas shopping?

I was hoping to get started in June this year so I wouldn't be so stressed in Nov/Dec but it didn't happen. At this point I'll be lucky to get started by August/Sept.
In what month do you start your holiday shopping?

sister, I shop all throughout the year. If I see a bargain or something I think someone would like I just get it and put it away until it's needed. This applies to birhtdays, Fathers day, Mothers day, Christmas and any time that I just might want to give a gift.

Every year I say I'm going to start early, and every year I start late. Right now my shopping concerns are back to school. Then it will be Halloween, which isn't a huge deal but I do have to buy 4 costumes, perhaps 5 if I want to dress the baby up. Then my twins birthday is in November... so usually after that is when I begin Christmas shopping.
